Spring Creek Medical Center Holiday Blog Post

This holiday season, we’re challenging you to treat yourself with the gift of chiropractic.

Let’s face it, if you’re anything like the average Cache Valley resident, the last thing on your “to-do” list is take care of your well-being. You’re struggling to take care of the kids, spouse, friends, work, dog, hobbies, social media, and so much more! With only 24 hours in a day, there’s hardly enough time to get everything done (let alone have some time to yourself). If there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s the fact that, when our bodies and minds are treated right, everything else seems to fall in place. Without your health, nothing on that stubborn “to-do” list really matters!

Holiday Adjustments

Let’s be honest, if there’s anyone that needs an adjustment, it’s Santa Clause. All of that heavy lifting, sleigh-riding and gift-giving can be hard on the back! The same goes for you as well! During this season of family get-togethers, shopping, feasts and more, people lose themselves to help other people. This is a great thing, but can be harmful on your back.

The cold weather, especially, is a time when your body is susceptible to injury. In fact, many people say they experience back, neck and joint pain either just before a storm or when the temperature falls quickly. One thing we know is that, when you’re cold, the muscles, tendons and ligaments in your back tighten and become less flexible. That lack of flexibility can make you much more prone to injury.

Don’t forget to treat YOURSELF this season as well! And not just for the next month. We challenge you to take care of yourself for the next year! Plan out healthier meals, live in a way that causes less stress in your life, and (of course) get adjusted! Here’s what people are saying about chiropractic adjustments from Spring Creek Medical Center:

Spring Creek Medical was so good to work with. I went in with serious back pain and they were able to help with both chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy, all from one location. All the staff were super nice and very accommodating with my schedule. Definitely would recommend them to anyone.
